What is a meet cute?

The quintessential meet cute… you’ve likely seen it in a rom-com, or been told a love story about how your great-grandparents met. Two people’s paths cross in some silly unexpected way and they fall in love. Every single person I’ve met has dreamed of having their own meet cute.

My favorite has to be from 101 Dalmatians when Pongo decided to play matchmaker and wraps his leash around Anita and Roger. Oh my little 6 year old heart was hooked! I’ve been a hopeless romantic ever since.

My grandparents met passing in a train station and my parents bumped into each other 3 days in a row sealing their fate. Love stories are in my blood! I hoped to have my own meet cute someday. And although the story of how I met my husband isn’t as cute (online, just like everyone else these days!), I still got my happily ever after. And now I do my best to create meet cutes for our clients. After all, being introduced by a matchmaker is a pretty cute story.
